Ruston woman arrested after disturbance

A Ruston woman was arrested after police responded to a disturbance where she allegedly attacked family members.

Kierra Tre Kilson, 25, was arrested on numerous charges on May 12 after she allegedly battered family members and damaged property at a South Vienna Street residence.

Police responded to the report where a woman said Kilson, her sister, had fought her and her other sister over an argument. Kilson was reportedly upset neither one of her sisters would give her a ride.

Police were told Kilson got angry and kicked down her bedroom door and then began throwing punches at the two sisters. Officer saw signs of a struggle on the porch and observe damaged property

According to one of the sisters, Kilson went outside and used a hammer to damage a vehicle.

Kilson told police she had gotten angry with her two sisters because they refused to give her a ride when her vehicle was broken down. She admitted breaking down the bedroom door and fighting the two sisters on the back porch. She said she grabbed a hammer and damaged a vehicle in the driveway.

It was learned Kilson was wanted on a warrant from Third District Court for failure to appear on an aggravated battery charge and also on a warrant from Bexar County Texas. The nature of the Texas charge was not available.

Kilson was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for a simple criminal damage to property (a misdemeanor), felony criminal damage the property, two counts of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, and the two warrants.
