RUSTON, La. — Head coach Mandy Cauley has added Kellie Thompson to the staff, so the Ruston High volleyball team will have a new face on the bench this season.
Cauley said, “I can’t wait to have her this year.” She was born in south Louisiana and wed a lad from Ruston. She will bring a wealth of defensive expertise to our program and is a talented athlete who loves the players and the game.
Thompson played both beach and indoor volleyball while she was a Golden Eagle at South Miss.
On Tuesday, September 2 at 6 p.m., the Lady Bearcats will play their first home game of the 2025 regular season against El Dorado.
