A memorial service for Mickey Howard “Mule” Sherrill, Sr., age 66 of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Bro. Greg Tipton officiating.
Mickey was born on November 7, 1958, in Ruston, to Curtis and Charlene Sherrill and passed away June 10, 2025 in Ruston.
He was an owner of M & S Grinding Machine Shop. Mickey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he never missed any of his daughter, Kenlyn’s, ball games. He had a charitable heart and enjoyed helping others, he hosted many benefits to assist families in need. Mickey loved hunting and fishing, he was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed a good meal. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Deana; his five children: Andy Sherrill and his wife Sabrina of Arcadia, April Hartley and her husband Marvin of Farmerville, Mickey Sherrill, Jr. of Simsboro, Kingston Sherrill of Ruston, and Kenlyn Sherrill of Ruston; his grandchildren: Collin Sherrill, Sara Sherrill, Amya Sherrill, and Braelyn Sherrill; his siblings: Terry Barnett and her husband Sonny of Hico, Ricky Sherrill, Charles Sherrill, and Johnny Sherrill, all three of Ruston. Mickey is preceded in death by his parents: Curtis and Charlene Sherrill.
