Our main grievance with Lion Legal, a North Little Rock firm that won numerous awards in the 2025 Best of Arkansas survey, is that a man is shown in its logo. The company’s vibe is fiercely female, and a cursory look at the website indicates that the majority of the employees are female. Should we recommend removing the face fringe?
Otherwise, we have no issues with a firm that won awards for best lawyer, best law firm, and best company to work for, and that is a finalist for best Arkansas-based company.
We would also nominate Lion Legal for best marketing plan, even if it wasn’t in the ballot. I take it you’ve seen the billboards? Central Arkansas’s highways are lined with several designs, each featuring an animal and a humorous tagline.
Still haven’t finished writing a will? You’ll be reminded that only turtles survive 200 years by a billboard along Cantrell Road as you head east into downtown. Make plans for when you pass away.
Do you have to flash your teeth in a divorce court? Given their billboard, which is visible to northbound travelers traveling out of downtown Little Rock on Interstate 30, Lion Legal might be what you’re looking for: Wed to a snake?
According to Taylor Robinson, the company’s marketing and community outreach coordinator, Lion’s internal marketing staff creates these advertisements themselves. They also take results seriously, despite their tendency toward humor.
Our steadfast dedication to outstanding communication and consistently outstanding outcomes reflects the power and grandeur of our namesake. According to Robinson, Lion Legal is the intersection of the law of the land and the law of the jungle.
Additionally, Lion was on target when he recently promised to donate $50,000 to the Little Rock Zoo over the following five years. The company engages in a lot of community involvement with organizations, schools, and festivals.
We are proud to demonstrate our dedication to Central Arkansas through the Little Rock Zoo, which reflects our Lion Legal principles (and their lions didn’t hurt!), Robinson said.
But let’s go back to our initial query. What about their logo’s male lion? Robinson admitted that it’s a little out of step with a predominantly female pride.
The qualities that we appreciate in our Lion lawyers—quiet leadership, nurturing strength, graceful collaboration, patient knowledge, and innovative long-term strategies—are symbolized by lionesses. We have discovered that the male half of the species—the lion or lawyer—does not exhibit such characteristics as frequently.
It’s dragon-slaying time!
