Obituary: Vickie Lynn Burrow

Strawberry resident Vickie Lynn Burrow, 56, died in Searcy on July 25, 2025. William B. and Vickie D. (Hahne) Dixon welcomed her into the world on February 4, 1969, in Granite City, Illinois. James L. Richey, her stepfather, reared her. Everyone knew her as Nana, a chef and member of Strawberry’s Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. She loved sewing, playing phone games, eating candy, spending time with her family, and being a foster parent.

William, her father; James, her stepfather; Charles Wayne Wallace, her son; Tim and Larry Richey, her brothers; Rex, her grandchild; and her grandparents all passed away before her.

Robert Burrow, her husband, mother Vickie Richey, one son Bobby Wallace (Lauri), two daughters Amber and Violet Burrow, two brothers Billy Dixon and Judson Dawson, two sisters Laura Bristow (Jeffery) and Annetta Terrel (Mike), nine grandchildren Madison, John, Justin, Cailin, JaKobe, Jace, Aubree, Madi, and Jackson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, are among the survivors.

Bro. Roger Randolph and Bro. Corey Johnson will officiate the funeral services at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Strawberry on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at noon. The burial will take place in Lynn’s Old Lebanon Cemetery.

Qualls Funeral Homes made the arrangements.

The church will be open for visits starting at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, until the time of the service.

Bobby Wallace, Corey Johnson, Travis Richey, Jeffery Bristow, Creeden Richey, and Billy Dixon will all be pallbearers.

Willis Langley, Alan Cotton, Alton Boyd, Johnny Johnson, and Mike Kinder will all serve as honorary pallbearers.
