Rosie resident Ona L. Wyatt, 80, died on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

She was born to Floyd and Alphea (Franks) Love in Lafferty, Arkansas, on October 10, 1944.

Ona was constantly thinking about other people and had the gift of helping others. Because her older sister would not leave her alone, she began school at the age of four because she loved her family. She worked as a dental assistant for R.E. Bell for 28 years and as a licensed real estate agent for 30 years. When you visited Ona’s house, she always made sure you ate because she enjoyed baking cakes.

The survivors include two sisters, Pauline Walter (Donald) of Mount Pleasant and Oleta Billingsley (Kirby) of Franklin; one son, Lance Wyatt (Deshawn), of Rosie; four brothers, Ronnie Love (Lanelle) of Mount Pleasant, Larry Love of Mount Pleasant, Garry Don Love of Southside, and Robert Love of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren, Landon Wyatt and Jace Wyatt (Summer Jeffery); special friends, Jaunice Brewer, Carol Gifford, Carolyn Johnson, Mary Garner, Doug Sipe, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her parents, her husband, Max Wyatt, and one sister, Anna Haley, all passed away before her.

Will Love, Brett Love, Ronnie Love, Larry Love, Garry Love, and Robert Love are the pallbearers. The employees of Rich Realty serve as honorary pallbearers.

Calvin Taylor and Farrell Miller will officiate the graveside services at Wyatt Cemetery on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Rosie Baptist Church will host the visitation from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
