Obituary: Jennette June Duke

Published On:

Born in Sidney, Arkansas, Jennette June Duke completed her education at Mount Pleasant High School in 1961. She married Harley Duke on May 26, 1961, and the two of them raised two boys, Burton and Gavin.

She worked as a child support officer and then as a legal assistant at the Steve Bell Law Office in Batesville, Arkansas, where she lived for the majority of her life. Dedicated to Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Jennette was a member.

She loved to travel, particularly with her sister and friends to Estes Park, Colorado. She valued holidays, get-togethers, and spending time with her siblings and other family members because they were the center of her existence. She cherished her granddaughter, Poppy, and her daughter-in-law, Lorie.

Jennette’s warmth, friendliness, and brilliant smile were well-known in her neighborhood, and they persisted into her last days.

Her parents, brothers, sister, husband Harley, and son Burton are among the loved ones who have passed on before her, and she is now securely in God’s arms.

The family would especially want to thank Legacy Hospice for their support and Cave City Nursing Home for their love and care.

Information on the memorial service will be released soon.

Qualls Funeral Homes made the arrangements.
