In Loving Memory of Doris Ann Breeding

Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of Doris Ann Breeding, who passed away on July 16, 2025. Doris Ann was born on May 28, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, to Willie Walter and Alice Luensmann Walter.

Doris Ann was a kind, loving, and devoted mother, aunt, sister-in-law, and the best Granny in the whole wide world. She worked for Fairfield Communities Inc. for 15 years, until her husband, Larry Breeding, retired her to the life she truly loved: caring for others, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She had an extraordinary sense of humor and a gift for making others laugh, often at her own expense during her many ”crazy adventures.” Doris Ann was happiest outdoors, clearing brush, burning, splitting wood, pulling on vines, or doting on her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Alice Walter; her beloved husband of 37 years, Larry Allen Breeding; and her brother, Kenneth Walter.

She is survived by her daughter, Elissa Lea Taylor; granddaughters, Jessica Moore and Kayla Beard; grandson, Tyler Taylor; and great-grandsons, Collin Butterworth, Caleb Butterworth, Owen Yost, and Waylon Moore. Doris Ann will also be deeply missed by her extended Walter/Luensmann family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families. Her warm smile and kind spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

A small memorial service will be held at the cabin on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at noon. If you wish to attend, please notify the family in advance. Contact Elissa at (870)214-2256 or Jessica at (870)214-9738. The family is requesting only close friends and family to attend.
