On August 1, 2025, Christy James, 51, of Lebanon, Illinois, died in Lebanon. John A. James and Patsy (Ballard) James welcomed her into the world on January 22, 1974, in Russellville. She worked as a real estate agent and a licensed nurse. She loved shopping, baking, cooking, visiting the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her parents, brother John D. James, sister Sandy Mickle, and grandson Owen Dobbins all passed away before her.
Among the survivors are four grandchildren: Brinkley, Casey, Morgan Allman of Southaven, and Oliver Dobbins of Mount View; three daughters: Regan Dobbins (Matt) of Mount View, Alison Allman (Daniel) of Southaven, MS, and Lexie Spence of Lebanon, IL.
A memorial visitation will be place at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel on Saturday, August 9, 2025, between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.
James Cemetery will be used for private burial.
