Obituary: Betty Taylor Davidson Hall

Betty Taylor Davidson Hall passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born in Augusta, Arkansas, on March 8, 1935, to Thomas A. and Rose Anne (Belk) Taylor.

The family she left behind to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Linda Deason (Ronnie), Carolyn Johnson; her son-in-law, John Wyatt; grandchildren, Rhonda Pearson, Mandolin Barnes, Ashley Davidson, Andrew Wyatt, and Sarah Drake; her great grandchildren, J.C. Pearson, Kate Pearson, Blake Barnes, John Barnes, Chelsea Davidson, Audrey Davidson, Axton Davidson, Atlas Davidson, Davidson Drake, Eric Olsen, Aryanna Wyatt and Coleton Wyatt; brother-in-law, Jim Hall (Linda); niece, Susan Elledge; great nephews, Allen and William Elledge.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Henry Davidson and William H. Hall; a daughter, Betty Ann Wyatt; her parents; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Pearson.

Betty and her husband were longtime members of Grace Baptist Church of Augusta, where they still liked to attend when their health allowed. Sewing was what she loved to do. She made all her children’s clothes while they were growing up and was famous for it in all the communities surrounding her. Betty also enjoyed knitting, antiquing, and attending auctions. One of her favorite flowers was African violets; she was very picky about anyone touching them. Betty was a receptionist for many years at Harris Hospital and later spent her time as a homemaker and caring for her family.

Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home of Bradford from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Graveside Service will begin at 2 pm at the Wyatt Cemetery in Rosie, Arkansas.
