Obituary: Alice Faye McAdams Long

On Thursday, July 24, 2025, Alice Faye McAdams Long, 75, of Bethesda, died. The daughter of Noel Red and Ardith (Reist) McAdams, she was born in Thida, Arkansas, on September 1, 1949. Her parents, brother, Michael McDougal, and husband, Michael Long, all passed away before her.

Her love of the Lord and her service to family and friends were the things that made a significant impact in her life. She was born with a good heart and a pleasant presence.

Siblings Rose Mary McAdams of Charlotte, Arkansas, Jerry McAdams of Bethesda, Arkansas, and Lisa Morrow (Mike) of Benton, Arkansas, as well as daughters Marty Harrell (Jim) of Houston, Texas, Cynthia Storlie (Danny) of Batesville, Arkansas, and stepdaughter Shante Fontaine (Justin) of Gladstone, Missouri, Dustin Halcom (Haley), Logan Lawrence, Will Storlie, Jay Storlie, Destiny Sant, and a number of great-grandchildren are among the survivors.

Even though she is no longer with us, the lives she impacted and the treasured memories she left behind will endure forever. Knowing that her spirit endures in everyone who had the good fortune to know her gives us peace. Pastor Jonathan Baxter will preside at a celebration of life at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. From 4:30 p.m. to the time of the ceremony, there will be a visiting.
