The Northern Louisiana Medical Center Auxiliary is giving back to the hospital.
With profits made through sales in the hospital gift shop during the year, the Auxiliary group recently made a $5,000 donation back to Northern Louisiana Medical Center, a gesture the group has done for a number of years.
Brandi Johnson, who serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator and Auxiliary Hospital Liaison at NLMC, said that the funds would be used to purchase new chairs for the ICU/Surgery waiting rooms and new sleeper chairs for the Women’s Center (OB Department).
“As the Hospital Liaison, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our incredible Auxiliary for their generous donation, which directly supports improvements in patient care and comfort at Northern Louisiana Medical Center,” said Johnson. “I’m also deeply grateful to all of our volunteers—their time, compassion, and dedication mean so much. They truly make a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our staff every single day.”
Anyone interested in joining the NLMC Auxiliary can contact Johnson at 318-254-7515 or by emailing her at [email protected].
The NLMC Gift Shop is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
