A new Vietnamese eatery called Asian Capitol Restaurant & Bar is set to replace the existing Southern Gourmasian brick-and-mortar restaurant at 219 W. Capitol Ave. in downtown Little Rock, according to news shared by food blogger The Mighty Ribpos on Monday.
According to the restaurant’s new social media profile, construction is already under way, and a sign for the establishment is visible on the building’s front. It also promotes Capital Beauty Studio, which is located next door.
This is the restaurant’s Facebook page’s opening post:
A significant aspect of Vietnamese culture is thought to be its cuisine. It accurately captures the traits of the nation, its citizens, and Vietnamese way of life. With over 54 ethnic groups and numerous locales, Vietnamese cuisine offers a wide range of foods, preparation methods, and ways to savor them.
Every Vietnamese region has its own traditional recipes, but they all share the use of natural spices, a range of fresh fruits and vegetables, and a mix of ingredients to produce a distinctive flavor. This demonstrates the creativity and refinement of Vietnamese cuisine preparation.
