Lucius to headline Hillcrest HarvestFest

In 2024, Glass Beams, a popular Australian psychedelic rock band, was invited to play at the yearly family-friendly street fair as part of the Hillcrest HarvestFest’s 30th birthday celebration. However, the endeavor to bring well-known musicians to Hillcrest wasn’t a one-time event. We are thrilled to announce that Los Angeles indie poppers Lucius will be the main act at HarvestFest when it returns this year on Saturday, October 4.

Co-lead vocalists Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe front the group, and they sing as if each member had half of a voice.According to a recent article in Paste Magazine, Lucius has experience performing on national venues and has appeared on shows like Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The trio was founded almost twenty years ago, and the Rolling Stone called their 2025 self-titled album their greatest to date.

The Chicago alt-country band will be among HarvestFest’s musical guests, which are free and accessible to the public.Local favorite Case OatsAlexander Isaac.
