National Republicans took notice of Clint Lancaster after he filed a paternity and child support action against Hunter Biden in June 2019. The case’s sexy details—that Joe Biden’s son had a child with Batesville native Lunden Roberts, who had performed as an exotic dancer in Washington, D.C.—attracted a lot of attention and made Lancaster a regular appearance on right-wing TV networks, YouTube channels, and podcasts.
Lancaster criticized Hunter Biden during those appearances for his claimed lack of involvement in his daughter’s life, his prior drug usage, and his then-pending weapons charges.
However, Lancaster is now being accused of things that are strikingly similar to what he said about Hunter Biden, according to documents filed this month in two different Arkansas courts.
Lancaster submitted a name change petition on behalf of a 19-year-old Pope County woman on August 5. According to Lancaster’s argument, the woman recently came to the conclusion that she is [Lancaster’s] biological daughter and that she wants to adopt her father’s and his family’s last name.
Attorney Jennifer Lancaster, Lancaster’s wife and business partner and a prominent figure in state-level Republican politics, filed a petition on Wednesday for immediate emergency custody of the couple’s two minor children as well as separate maintenance. Although it naturally begs the question of whether Clint was really in a position to throw stones, the filing had nothing to do with his paternity case; his adult daughter was born in 2006, and he and Jennifer were married in 2011.
Jennifer Lancaster stated in an affidavit that accompanied her petition that Clint Lancaster has a lengthy history of abusing alcohol and prescription drugs, unresolved anger management difficulties, and unstable mental health.
She claimed that this has been occurring for the past ten years, during which time she has made numerous attempts to get him to seek therapy, counseling, or treatment. Following the failure of those attempts, Jennifer Lancaster was forced to seek intervention in order to safeguard the children from imminent danger, secure her marital and professional assets from additional damage, and formally establish separation and support.
Jennifer Lancaster accused her husband of the following in the affidavit:
- [He] has abused alcohol and prescription drugs for at least ten years, often obtaining controlled substances from multiple sources and consuming them in excess of prescribed dosages.
- In late May 2025, after I had to euthanize my dog, I asked [Clint] to supervise the children and their friends while they swam in the pool. When I awoke about an hour later, he was passed out. The children reported that he had locked himself in the office and refused to check on them.
- Between June 16 and June 28, 2025, [he] engaged in a binge of prescription drugs and alcohol, during which he threatened multiple times, in front of the children, to kick my ass and to kill me.
- On or about June 19, 2025, [he] physically attacked me in front of the children, mocked our youngest child s distress, and verbally abused me after I encouraged him to seek help.
- During the same week, at about 10:00 p.m., the house alarm went off. [Clint], visibly intoxicated, rambled incoherently for about fifteen minutes. When I arrived at the home less than an hour later, he was passed out and surrounded by multiple assault rifles.
- [He] has discussed taking the children to stay with associates in Florida, including a business associate who is currently under investigation by the FBI and connected to known dangerous persons and about whom he told our 10-year-old daughter on June 21, 2025, If I told you what happened to the money, some people would come and kill you.
Jennifer Lancaster claimed that because Clint Lancaster left a marijuana gummy on their daughter’s desk, they were apart for several months. According to the petition’s reference to the youngest child’s birth year, that would have been approximately 2022.
According to Jennifer Lancaster’s complaint, Clint Lancaster became aggressive with airline employees and was ejected from a plane in Chicago when he was his route to Wisconsin for treatment. She claims that in June, he was involuntarily admitted to a mental health institution in Wisconsin. He was then moved to an inpatient rehabilitation center, which he departed when he discovered his insurance would not pay for the entire term. Lastly, she claims that since July 20, Clint Lancaster has opened new bank accounts, purchased a new car, gotten several tattoos, and stated his intention to go to Florida with people who could endanger the children’s safety.
Jennifer Lancaster is requesting that Clint Lancaster turn over his firearms to the Saline County Circuit Court. She requested that all visits with the minor children be halted until he has finished a mental health assessment, followed all treatment recommendations, had negative results from 60 days of drug and alcohol tests, had 30 days of counseling in a row, and finished at least 30 days of intensive outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation.
People that are MAGA-aligned are often described as having confessions behind every charge they make. In this case, the saying definitely comes to mind, even though it may not always be true.
