Louisiana Tech student-athletes finished the 2024-25 academic year on a high note, registering a 3.336 grade point average for the spring quarter which marks the highest ever term GPA on record.
LA Tech saw 13 of its 14 athletic rosters post a term GPA of at least 3.00, led by the bowling program which had a 3.78 GPA (second highest ever). Women’s cross country and soccer also had high academic marks, recording a term GPA of 3.60.
Other highlights included the football program registering its highest ever term GPA on record while the spring quarter GPAs of golf and men’s basketball ranked in the top three among their programs.
A total of 220 Bulldogs and Lady Techsters achieved the AD Honor Roll (term GPA of 3.00 and above) with 136 of those earning academic honors – 97 student-athletes made the Dean’s List (3.5-3.85 GPA) and 39 made the President’s List (3.85+ GPA).
