Next week, the River Markets Ottenheimer Hall food court in downtown Little Rock will have a two-day corn dog giveaway (one per person) to introduce Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs, a Korean-style corn dog franchise.
Two Hands was established in California in 2019 and specializes in corn dogs that are heavily topped with a variety of sauces and intricate garnishes, such as potato cubes, crispy rice puffs, and Flamin Hot Cheetos powder. The menu also offers the American original state-fair-style dog with corn-based batter and a trademark Classic, which the menu says as a Korean twist on a crew favorite, for those who are less daring.
Mochi or wheat batter are commonly used to make Korean-style corn dogs. A selection of milk teas and slush drinks are also offered on the menu. Elote, kimchi fries, and Dirty Fries—which the menu defines as tater tots loaded with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos powder and proprietary Two Hands sauce—are among the sides.
In 2023, Two Hands opened its first facility in Arkansas at 11525 Cantrell Road in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center. The downtown River Market store will be the company’s second in Arkansas, according to its website.
Both Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, from noon to two p.m., are the dates of the free corn dog giveaway. Follow the business on Instagram and wait in line inside Ottenheimer Hall (400 President Clinton Ave.) before 2:00 p.m. to receive a complimentary corn dog. You might run meet Daniel Grear, the print editor of the Arkansas Times, who attended the Riverdale location’s grand opening celebrations last summer and miraculously won free Pizza Hut pizza for a year.
