County Judge Kevin Jeffery announces reelection campaign

From Judge Kevin Jeffery of Independence County:

I am proud and humbled to declare my candidacy for reelection as County Judge to the people of our wonderful county.

It has been an amazing honor to serve as our county judge. I have always intended to give this office my all, and I will continue to do so. Throughout my first term, I have made it a priority to repair county property and provide our employees with a dependable fleet so that we may have the most productive workforce possible—all without taking on additional debt. I’ve made a conscious effort to get involved in every aspect of county operations in order to pinpoint needs that will optimize efficiency. Working with our OEM director to enhance our 911/dispatch operations, which are directly linked to each fire department’s ISO ratings in the county, is one example. This effort practically prevented one fire district from losing its rating this past year.

Bridges have been built, grants have been secured, automatic generators have been put into service for communication towers, a significant endeavor to house USDA’s NRCS and FSA is in progress, a new Senior Center has been created, and so on. This hard work will continue with your assistance.

I sincerely believe that continuing to serve Independence County as your judge is a privilege and an honor. I’m determined to work hard for our county and will continue to fulfill my responsibilities as county judge. God bless the wonderful state of Arkansas and Independence County. Thank you for your support.

Regards, Kevin Jeffery, the judge
