Hendrix is a private, residential college in Conway that offers more than just a degree; it also gives students a sense of belonging, community, and mentorship. Investing in each other’s futures

Hendrix views financial help as a dialogue rather than a formula. Vice President of Enrollment Kasey Evans states, “We collaborate closely with each student and their family to create a personalized financial aid package that enables a Hendrix education.” Merit scholarships are automatically awarded to all accepted students. Hendrix is able to provide need-based aid that is customized for each student’s unique situation in addition to what is available through the FAFSA because of the continued support of kind donors and alumni who recognize the lasting value of a Hendrix education.

A key component of the Hendrix experience is faculty involvement. Professors are not just teachers. They assist students identify their talents, find new interests, and get ready for graduate school, internships, and research possibilities. The Odyssey Program benefits students by sponsoring and supporting experiential learning in areas including service, creative research, and global study.

The core of your Hendrix experience is living on campus. More than just a place to sleep, residence halls are a place where community is cultivated and strong friendships are forged. Hendrix students form bonds through common areas, deep discussions, and customs that have bound them together for many years.

Football, women’s flag football, basketball, swimming, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and more are among the 21 NCAA Division III sports in which Hendrix College participates. Hendrix has club and intramural sports in addition to varsity programs, which promote widespread student involvement. Athletics, whether on the field or in the spectators, are a dynamic and cohesive aspect of campus life.

RESULTS THAT TALK FOR THEMSELF

Hendrix students flourish rather than merely graduate. Professional school acceptance rates are significantly higher than the national averages: 75% of applicants are accepted to medical school (compared to the national average of 45%), 73% of applicants are accepted to dentistry school (compared to 56%), and 78% of applicants are admitted to law school.

Additionally, Hendrix is ranked highest among liberal arts universities in the South for placement in graduate programs in computer science and psychology. Even though almost one-third of our graduates go on to get advanced degrees, the job placement rate for those joining the workforce is 100%.
