Clarendon High coach held on $3M bond in rape case involving minor

Authorities claim that a football coach at Clarendon High School sexually molested a youngster, leading to his arrest and rape charges.

During a traffic check in West Memphis on Sunday, August 10, 27-year-old Caleb Hunter Gannon was apprehended without incident, according to Arkansas State Police.

According to authorities, on July 30, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office asked the state police Criminal Investigation Division for help in looking into the claims.

Gannon was officially charged with felony rape and engaging children in sexually explicit behavior for use in a visual or print medium when he appeared in court on Monday, August 11, according to Arkansas State Police. A $3 million bond was imposed for him.

The Prairie County Detention Center is where he is being detained.
