On Thursday, July 17, the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the grand opening of the new Sarah Dipity restaurant on Main Street in Batesville’s downtown.
Leaders of the community, friends, patrons, and supporters came together to welcome the neighborhood restaurant to its new location. According to a chamber announcement, Sarah Dipity, which is owned and run by Sarah Castleberry, a resident of Batesville, is renowned for its inventive cuisine, novel flavors, and cozy, welcoming ambiance.
During the event, Castleberry stated, “Being a part of the Main Street business community means everything to me.” This is a location where we create community, not just a restaurant. From slicing veggies to packing orders, I enjoy teaching my young employees new skills. It’s not just a job; it’s a combination of life teachings and home economics.
Castleberry conveyed his sincere appreciation for the Batesville community’s ongoing support.
She said, “I’ve had a lot of mentors and helping hands along the way.” Without the support and affection I’ve gotten from this town, I couldn’t have accomplished this.
For Sarah Dipity, which is still becoming a well-liked destination for both locals and tourists, the new site represents a significant milestone. Additionally, the restaurant provides catering for parties and other occasions.
Castleberry can be reached at 870-569-4402 or [email protected] for catering questions.
