Bleu Monkey Grill
announced on social media
this week that its original Hot Springs Central Avenue location is closed indefinitely following a fire that occurred at the restaurant in March.
Contractors estimate that it will take “10-12 months” for reconstruction to be completed and that “we are facing a long and uncertain road ahead,” the announcement says.
The restaurant opened in Spa City 15 years ago at 4263 Central Ave. Owner/chef
Ozzie Oseguera
opened a Little Rock location
at 10700 N. Rodney Parham Road in 2024. Oseguera has been named best chef in The Sentinel-Record’s Readers’ Choice Awards four out of the last five years, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
He won best chef in the 2025 awards
and the restaurant won best appetizers (locally owned). Former Eat Arkansas writer Michael Roberts
hailed the restaurant’s mac and cheese balls
appetizers as one of the best apps in the state back in 2012.
