Batesville marks historic four-peat with swim team ring ceremony

Published On:

Players, coaches, family, and community members gathered for a ring ceremony to commemorate the Batesville Pioneers’ fourth consecutive state title.

The team’s historic run of titles was honored at the celebration on Thursday at the Batesville Community Center, according to a district release. Each ring signified years of practice, cooperation, and steady success.

Every player was guaranteed a ring thanks to sponsors such as the Rodgers Family, Greg Mohlke, MCS, White River Now, White River Distributors, First Community Banks, Woods Family Dealership, Mollie Grace, and Cathy Breeland.

The ceremony served as a celebration and a farewell to a successful chapter for the graduating seniors. Younger athletes saw it as inspiration to carry on the winning legacy of the program.
