On Thursday, July 31, 2025, Edna Geraldine Copeland, 91, of Pleasant Grove, departed to be with the Lord.
Don and Beulah (Leonard) York welcomed Geraldine into the world on October 18, 1933, in Ben, Arkansas. She identified as a Baptist Christian.
On October 21, 1952, Geraldine married Junior Bob Copeland. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and devoted wife. After 28 years of employment, she retired from K-Mart. She loved watching music shows on RFD, doing puzzles, dancing on Saturday nights at the Folklore, and listening to gospel and country music. To put it another way, she cherished music.
Geraldine’s parents, Don and Beulah York; her husband, Bob Copeland; her sister, Genevieve; and her son-in-law, Michael Cox, all passed away before her.
Her daughter Sharon Cox of Pleasant Grove, two grandkids, Brian Cox of Longview, Texas, and Stephanie (Padden) Nelson of Houston, Texas, as well as several nieces, nephews, and relatives survive her.
