On August 11, 2025, Donnie Dean Corter, 65, of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, died quietly in the company of his devoted family. He was born to William and Katherine (Burgess) Corter on July 24, 1960, in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Donnie belonged to the Pentecostal faith and was a Christian. An industrious individual, he dedicated more than 35 years of his life to Turner Sawmill, consistently supporting his family. His humor and kind nature made everyone around him happy, and he loved sincerely. Donnie enjoyed joy in the little things, whether he was hunting, fishing, or just spending time with his loved ones, especially his cherished grandchildren. He will be sorely missed and adored by many.

His parents, William and Katherine Corter, one son, Zachary Corter, and two brothers, William and Lonnie Corter, all passed away before him.

His nine children—Michael (Brittany) Blankenship, Donna (Randy) Rorie, Albert (Kelley) Corter, Ida (Nick) Pearson, James Thompson, Rebecca, Christopher, and Lonnie Corter—as well as his loyal wife of 23 years, Sabrina Corter, are left to treasure his memory. In addition, Donnie has three great-grandchildren, twenty-five grandchildren, a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members, as well as many close friends.
