On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Batesville resident Cheryl Dawn Lusk, 68, passed away. Rosie Mae Head Griffis and Earl Jackson Griffis welcomed her into the world on June 21, 1957, in Batesville.
Cheryl loved being outside and caring for her goats and poultry. She worked in retail establishments and at Batesville’s Green’s Tax Services during her lifetime.
She belonged to Southside’s Immanuel Baptist Church.
Her husband Doug, who lives at home, her sons Brad (Tiffany) Lusk of Salado and Daniel (Blinda) Lusk of Southside, her brothers Jay (Regina) Griffis of Southside and Ronnie (Magaly) Griffis of San Antonio, Texas, her sister Jeanie Bunting of Dardanelle, Arkansas, her grandchildren Ezra, Elijah, Elliot, Ashlyn, and Andrew, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends, are left to honor her memory.
Her parents and sister, Carolyn Griffis, all away before her.
An announcement regarding a memorial service will be made later.
