Grandparents, mom charged after children in Williford home test positive for meth

Three adults face felony charges after two young children in a Sharp County home tested positive for multiple illegal substances, according to court records.

In June 2025, Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children received a referral from the Department of Human Services involving possible drug exposure at a residence on Shady Lane in Williford. The referral indicated two children, ages 2 and 3, were living with their mother, Chole Yun, 22, and grandparents Brandy Vick, 41, and Charles Anthony “Tony” Vick, 43.

During a home visit, DHS reported that Yun and Brandy Vick appeared under the influence. A knife and a marijuana pipe were found on Yun’s bed within reach of the children. Yun agreed to a drug test and tested positive for methamphetamine, THC, and amphetamines. Brandy Vick refused to test.

Yun allegedly told the investigator that they “use drugs all together” daily and also make and sell methamphetamine, according to the court documents.

Both children were removed from the home on June 20 and taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital for examination. Hair follicle tests returned positive for methamphetamine, THC, and amphetamines. A clinic representative described the levels as “shockingly high,” indicating recent exposure.

On July 16, Yun, Brandy Vick, and Tony Vick were each charged with introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another and first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor. Brandy and Tony Vick were arrested the same day. As of July 22, Yun had not been taken into custody, according to court documents and online jail records. Their bonds have been set at $75,000 each.
