Beverly (Hudson) Papineau of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was born June 17, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Marvin and Pauline (Lamb) Hudson.
Mrs. Papineau graduated from Hoxie High School in 1974. She then pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Arkansas State University. Mrs. Papineau taught English and Science at Tuckerman Elementary and Swifton Middle School for 38 years. After retiring, she returned to the school as a substitute teacher for an additional 8 years. She was a highly admired and respected teacher who loved educating her students over the years.
Mrs. Papineau enjoyed walking in her pool twice a day, watching HGTV, taking trips to the casino, and napping with her dog, Highway. She especially cherished beach trips with her family.
Mrs. Papineau was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Hudson, and two brothers, Ronald Hudson and Terry Wayne Hudson.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Anthony “Tony” Papineau of the home; one daughter, Alyssa Papineau of Fayetteville; her mother, Pauline (Lamb) Hudson; a multitude of former students and colleagues; and a lifetime of friends.
The Papineau family will receive guests at the family home at 146 Greenhaw, Tuckerman, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The family welcomes you to drop in throughout the day.
